Are Rovers a better side than us ?

At least we will get to see next week v Leeds

Leeds are and were shockingly bad

We really need the 2 points with Wigan and Cas not far behind

Anyone who thinks we can afford to lose at Leeds is in denial

So I would fully expect a win and of course it’s LR’s job to ensure this happens

Hardly a barometer of success. In 2016 Rovers beat them at Headingley whereas we lost (of course). At the end of the regular season we were top and Rovers 11th.

Why did you not start a Leeds thread with this instead of randomly putting it on here?

Currently Storm kick off in 5 mins
Taking my seat
The thread is about a coach’s extension
Any comment about the FC team is clearly
directed to LR as well
So in a round about way , without you picking it up , I am talking LR

Well, LR has exceeded expectations so far this year although obviously 7 games still to go.

Think we’ve overachieved this year, being third currently.
Thought we’d struggle to make top five to be honest.

So did Phil Clarke and recently reiterated it on Sky.

We could well still miss out. Looking like 6 into 5 with Cas, Wigan, Catalans picking up form and without the cup distraction we've created for ourselves.

I’m still on the fence and the complacency and lack of effort in some games is more than worrying, and while effort levels is down to the players, it’s the responsibility of the coach to find performances like that at the Magic weekend unacceptable.
The consensus with the current coach seems that we just move on to the next game and hope we play better with a shrug of the shoulders.
Watching the transformation of the team we should not mention under Tony Smith just shows you what a decent coach can do.
Too often we look like we can’t be bothered and the effort and intensity just isn’t there, then in the next breath we look like the best team in the competition, the mind boggles to what’s going on
Potentially we could do the double but equally we could not make the playoffs and then get smashed by 60 by Warrington
Are we winning games because we have a very decent and capable squad or are we winning because we have a great coach??
The one thing I do like about Lee is his honesty, but I feel that if he is stating on as coach he needs help with some sort of attacking coach
