Didn't Satae replace Tohu Harris in the 2nd row against Melbourne last week? With Ellis playing on we have a leader for half the games, and I don't really consider Mini or Manu leaders so no real loss. We've got Jordan Lane and still at least 2 more players to recruit. With us looking pretty good at this stage of the season anyway, I think things are looking pretty positive.

Not sure, haven't seen him play, just what I found on the internet, I've never heard of him or Sao before.

I'm pretty positive aswell, these could turn out like Fonua or Carlos, have to trust the club.

Wouldn't surprise me if we pulled out a signing nobody expected.

The RU trialist scored 2 try for the reserves yesterday, might be worth a contract for a year as all of his salary would be off cap wouldn't it?

Need to trust the clubs recruitment.Fonua Carlos Ratu etc have proven the doubters wrong (so far),and Leeds haven’t done anything despite going big on their marquee signings.Signing big names doesn’t always guarantee the rewards
Never mind the bollox, bring on the rugby:)

Does apply to all RU recruits, can you have as many as you want or is it capped, as we will have Ratu hopefully.

If so whats to stop a team signing 4 union players and having none of their salary on the cap

Looks like we are targeting younger forwards as well.
Quite relaxed with how it will shape up. The club have got it more right than wrong in recent years.
Trent Merrin hasn’t exactly ripped it up despite being on marquee money, so I’m not too worried if we sign someone we’ve not heard of.

Guy Armitage. Not sure about his position but looks centre/2nd row in league to me. Would be 28 next season but looks a unit. 6'5" tall!

Nowhere near enough and it doesn't look like Satae has ever played back row, certainly no first grade or Canterbury cup.

Our backrow will be

Jones
Savelio
Sao

Which looks good, but little back up and no leader.

I agree we need at least one quality overseas second row and not another prop playing second row
