Yeah the game management was poor. A lot of rash decisions.
Shame to lose the 100% home record but we've been better than I expected recently so I'm still reasonably content.

Also thought we defended out line very well though. Both their trys were from kicks (in a fashion) and they had PLENTY of ball on our line.

That's how I saw it we were pretty ineffective down the middle. Paea was in particular disappointing. They ran harder and made more metres. Dare I say we need a Watts type of player next season. No complaints about the result.

Exposed our deficiencies both in attack and defence. Kelly was outstanding but too many simply nowhere near. Washbrook again was awful, christ at least pick Litten for a change up from Houghton who despite giving his all looked a bit knackered, Downs ineffective, Carlos really well off the pace and we just slammed it up the middle too often with forwards from a standing start.
Add in some poor decision making and despite a nicely worked try we were really off the pace all afternoon.

Season is NOT over, typical negative post from the same old person!

Faraimo was excellent. He's really found his feet and is improving every week. Another good signing by Radford. Pity some of our forwards can't run with the same aggression.

Bumps people off more than most forwards in the league. Need to utilise a drop off to him right on the opposition try line more often. It's a simple move but the way he powers over people it would get good rewards.

Too many players missing. 7 players sat in the stands who would have been in the 17 today and another 1 off at half time. Having said that the game was there to be won but we were really dumb when we needed to be smart. Should have started with Connor and Kelly in the halves and Logan at centre and why the he'll he put Logan to fb I don't know

I value your opinion the vast majority of the time, but you really need to either lighten up or have a good long think before you post.

By your rationale, that would mean any defeat in the, either in the last game, this game, the next game or any game in the remainder of the season would have been season ending.

Were you expecting us to go the rest of the season undefeated?

We lost today for several reasons.

Lack of ball playing ability and a couple of very dumb decisions did for us. Notice the way Wigan spread the ball the full width of the pitch 3 or 4 time per set and made massive inroads meters wise? Yet even when chasing the game we didn't "hot potato" the ball. FFS we even went on the short blind side for three of those plays in that set at the end. Just shows the players are either not brave enough to trust a fellow player to hang on to the ball or we simple do not play enough off the cuff stuff.

Our kicking was poor.

Dont like singling out players, but Danny Houghton???? what was he thinking when kicking from dummy half after just 2 tackles?? That gifted Wigan Field position and even then they needed a lucky bounce off the cross bar (would be interested to see if the bloke who caught it off the bar was off side when Tomkins took the dg.

I would expect you will not be at the next game, if you think our season is over? Or are you going to actually show a bit of faith once in a while and stop being so melodramatic, which you claim not to be?
