Maybe one reason he was keen to come because i get the impression the family like living in the South of France and i doubt they will come to live in Hull area so he will be able to see them more often.

Elite sport has a special exemption from having to quarantine. However, the government is full of Old Etonian's who wouldn't class Rugby League as an elite sport in fact most of them have probably never heard of it.
