Amuses me that people say we have cover for Briscoe, you know, the international winger who can score from nothing. His form may not have hit the heights this season yet, but to say he would not be missed is a misguided comment.

Would Leeds miss Hall? Of course

Would Wigan miss Charnley? OF course

Will Hull miss BRiscoe, very much so!

Tickle is well covered n it seems he wants to be nearer home. No problem for me really. Just I'm reluctant to pass it off so lightly. Lack of overseas availability, talent drain and our young 1s prob 2 3yrs min from tickle form n ability if at all.
Briscoe is unreplaceable in the things he can do. Lineham good but totally different player, that will rely on team work n mates more than Briscoe ever has. Gonna need another wing, can't rely on just 2. Although shaul could maybe cover.

Just shows how important it is that we produce our own players like Wigan do. NRL are gonna mop up any world class talent, so we need great up and coming players ready to step up.

As for the doom mongering of SL, I think it's great for the international team that our stars are going to the NRL and that we have to produce more players. There'll be more opportunity for English players now than there ever was. If England can win something, SL's profile will go up on the back of it.
