Is this forum so precious now we can’t even discuss players who have been disappointing for whatever reason.

We even have to sanitise this level of freedom to express?

If there is another reason for locking it if love to know what.

We signed a young half back from Cumbria, probably about 10 years back that was the next big thing. Think it was Liam Campbell? Perhaps had 1 or 2 first team games but couldn't get out of the reserves.

We've had a fair few of these young "starlets" in recent years that we all talk about on the terrace or in the pub but for whatever reason don't get into the first team.

Jordan Grayston and Lucas Walshaw another two that spring to mind.

I have always been disappointed that none of our 2009 grand final winning academy side really kicked on at SL.

I'm going to be controversial now too, Miller. For me he was far too inconsistent, for such a big name in our squad. Had the abilities, but went missing far too often.

His best attribute was running at a defence, but seldom did this in his last couple of years.

For a half back of such experience, his passing was poor.

To me, it's more about who we replace him with, rather than sad to see him go

Walshaw is an obvious recipient of this award. Massive guy, outstanding in the academy but unable to transfer his attributes up to 1st team level. I only recall one decent tackle bust/break during his Super League games for us. People in the past put his lack of progression down to our coach at that time (Kear?)
Dropped down to championship level where he seems to have happily soldiered on for 10 years or so. A repeat Man of the match performance later today will create a "we should never have let him go" meltdown on SM.
