More skilful and a better rugby brain than most players but lacking in pace and size to play in superleague. I hope he does really well at Keighley who are building a competitive team to take on the championship. I have enjoyed watching Brad when he has played and wish him all the best
If I was short sighted I could become a referee!

SL full of players who lack the size and sometimes the speed to be successful.

I can see a player like Brad really maturing into a good LF in his later years.

Best move for him I feel as he needs regular game time in a settled position. A few years full time and some SL games will set him up nicely to be a good player in the championship.
Top six 2005 - Trinity.

Another good young Trinity player on the move. Provided good utility cover at 6,7,9 and 13. I’d have thought the type of player every SL squad needs…

Bit like when Finn was a young player….He’s 6 foot and about 16 stone though according to his player profile….

Historically he's the type of adaptable player who would have been top of the clubs list to retain.
Its not that long ago many wanted him to be given a run at hooker or replacing 6 or 7, now he should make a good championship player

That's exactly the problem.
He CAN play all those positions but he isn't the best at any of them.
If he wants to be more than a squad player, this is a good move for him.

A club like Wakefield should be always looking for players like Brad Walker, you get more for your money, we're not flush in the money department.
If a player can fill several roles, he's invaluable, he's shown up well when he's played but I feel he's been used like another George King.

Clearing the decks for some incomings hopefully , exciting times ahead to see how Willie develops his team over the coming months.

I think if we win another 2 games I’d be happy for Poching to stay another season. We won 9 last season and are sat on 7. I feel we have been unlucky spending most of the season without Tupou and TJ along with Kershaw missing TJ nearly all season. Think we’ve been a tad unlucky on that front again.

There will be some space coming up no doubt with what I suspect:

TJ
Tupou
Pitts
Adebiyi
Arona
Walker
Tanivalu
Fifita
Batchelor
Miller
Evans

There’s a few handy players out of contract. If Miller is going a quality halfback is an absolute must.

If we recruit effectively and smart it could really be a new era for the club. I really hope we keep investing in promoting 2/3 young lads a season to the first team too.
Top six 2005 - Trinity.
