In reality, if there are 10 places in the top league, Wigan. Sts, Leeds, Warrington are guaranteed no matter what the criteria. Probably Catalan and Hull too.
So that only leaves, 4 places. Huddersfield are probably well placed apart from crowds
So we are competing with Hull KR, Cas, Salford, Leigh, Fev, Toulouse for 3 places.
And that's assuming they don't want a new franchise. So just getting a good league position is not enough.
Your post said they can’t relegate 25% of the league in a restructure
OK, I'll help you out by re-phrasing it:
They cannot logically relegate 25% of the division, in a 12 team competition, where the team coming up would be worse than at least 2 of them, and where it would negate the contracts of up to 90 Super League players.

Hope that clarity helps.
Listen,
The post I responded to, your post, contained nothing about promoting a team, just the naive childlike notion that they can’t do what they want I.E. relegate 25%

Here’s my help for you, If you can’t have a conversation without turning into a keyboard prick then you need to find another pastime.
I'm not sure what you found foolish, naïve, or childlike in my very reasonable post, which lacked emotion or "edge", though yes, I get that IMG/RFL/SL can do what they want - I was talking logic.
I also fail to see why think I wasn't engaging in conversation. I certainly don't appreciate being called a prick for calmly voicing an opinion.
I think you need to re-read and have a little sit down. Has it been a long day?

They haven't said this is happening, and certainly haven't given any criteria - but surely it has to be table standings!?
Anything other than than that (and that's divisive enough, when some clubs don't pay their rent, but pay big time Charlies'), would surely rip the game apart, not unite it.

They could go to franchising. I'd vote for that. What's the point of employing some expensive expert and then do the thing you've always done.
