I must say your choice of an example lets your argument down, You mention Ken Davy, it's an open secret he has and still does bankroll the club, but what lets your theory down is where are all their supporters, good ground with good facilities, good links to the ground by road and rail, good parking, cheap ST, up to the salary cap limit with recruitment what else could they're supporters want ?, they still get less than a decent crowd despite healthy away support and have to include ST holders to boost their attendance figures whether they attend or not, and you want to compare our club with theirs.

But ultimately whist the support isn't there, he still backs them so they have the ability to compete at the top end of the table and make finals. We don't have that luxury so need more people through the gate.

Give me some more of that stagnation.

Your pushing against an open door here I think most fans would agree with that, there must be a reason that he still backs them to the sum of £2.5million a year if they are doing that well, maybe Thewlis isn't that good a CEO as some of their fans are quick to point out, supposing Michael Carter privately subsidised our club to that tune every year then perhaps we might have a better more experienced coach along with the backroom staff and more experienced assistant coaching staff, not forgetting the quality players what would suddenly be made available, with any luck we could also squeeze in a new stand on the western terrace, it was you who has mentioned Mr Davy in both your posts, do you really need him to endorse your opinions of our plight by including him to push your thoughts, one simple question to finish off here as we seem to be getting nowhere, quick supposition for you, supposing the Davy family fell out with shudds completely and withdrew his financial support for the shuddersfield giants, in the great scheme of things do you really think they would be up there contesting finals, or would they be down there with the rest of us what aren't as fortunate.

Where's this come from??

I've never seen any statement that says "we'll build an new stand and lots of fans will come."

I have no doubt the club will be working on plans to have some kind of incentivised re-launch, but we haven't finished knocking the old one down yet, so you're being a bit premature.

He's saved his club only to run it in to the ground, what's the point.
Surely now would be the time to concider even a small change of direction and offer the fans some hope.
He couldn't care less about the supporters and by offering more of the same proves the point,
I can see the headlines now with a picture of Mr Carter sat in his directors seat in his new stand wondering were all the supporters went only to be replaced by a weekly mother and baby session in the new facility.

What is this magical change of direction you are expecting?

I wonder if the club will allow the supporters to thank those players leaving or retiring at our final home game or will they remain in denial.
