Watched him quite a few times on TV playing for Manly and he was a very strong ball carrier and hard tackler. May be a very good replacement for Tupou….

Biography:
Jorge Taufua is one of the most experienced and respected players at the Sea Eagles.
A powerful runner of the ball who can make good metres, Taufua can also create fear in opposition players with his bone rattling tackling technique. He has scored 87 tries in 163 matches for the Sea Eagles.
Jorge will head into his 10th season with the Sea Eagles in 2022 after making his NRL debut for Manly in 2012.
One of the most feared defenders in the NRL, Jorge's 'monster hit' on Melbourne's Cameron Munster at Brookvale was named the NRL's 'Tackle of the Year' in 2019. The video went viral and was shown on major sports shows across USA.
Away from the game, Jorge has completed a Certificate IV in Community and Recreation.

Can’t beat a player wanting to come over to put himself in the limelight. Seems he’s a left winger so could see him line with Hall and Murphy/Evans to right. A lot of games and try’s under his belt too.

May well get a game at centre, just seen his bone rattlers on vid.
Club have acted fast and need to be congratulated.

Think he’s exclusively played wing other than the odd one. Hall has been a shining light so maybe right centre. Will be very interesting to see how we use him. I’ve always been a big fan of playing players in their correct position (unless there’s a better alternative).

Didn't Bill arrive as a winger.
