Not how Bill would have wanted to finish his time at Belle Vue I’m sure , leading us out of the spectre of relegation would have been a much more fitting end for such a classy player.Outstanding player ,and the game at Headingley will always stand out for me where he had Watkins in his pocket as one of his finest , almost unplayable.A gentleman a true professional and a big pair of boots to fill , great memories , thank you Bill you are a star .
