probably gets the award for one of the worst scrum halves we’ve ever had , guys shocking, can’t tackle , hasn’t made a break in about 12 games (come to think of it that’s probably cos he’s never done anything other than pass the ball) his ball in hand kicking is atrocious, he’s a good goal kicker is all - if Wigan are actually interested in signing him I ll run naked down west gate

I am sorry Vastman but we all know that the two at the top are good with the finances but are they also able to run a professional sports team. It was not that long ago we had what we all thought was our strongest squad in years but some left to be replaced by those that are too old or just not good enough. Then there are others who we have retained a little too long and finally we kept a coach who it was easy to see had reached his shelf life.
I regret sport is a cutthroat business based on results not friendship, I fear it is too late for us and yes I am being negative.

Could have been a lot worse had Wigan targeted the right edge like they did in the first 15 for the duration of the entire match.

Second half scrappy affair with both teams looking to next week.

Wigan barely got out of second gear but they didn’t have to.

Positive from the Trinity point of view was Max who I felt went very well are surely did enough to retain his place, no injuries, and it was a fairly low intensity contest meaning we should be fresh for the big one next week.

Well I thought it could have been a lot worse today.
We attacked once we had the ball.
Max had a great game
I like Evans on the wing. He certainly keeps his place.
Hall involvement in the game was massive. He seemed to take the most carries in the first half and made 3 try saving tackles in first half. .alas they just went the other way and scored.
Fifita really rocked them around even though they were lining up for him.
Whitbread is a great signing and was best forward for me.
Unfortunately we don't seem to be able to slide as a team in defense and Wigan just moved the ball till they made the overlap.
No lack of effort but we have to put that sliding defense right as other teams will just start doing the same.

That’s a relief then - it could’ve been worse. Don’t know how much worse it could’ve been since Salford won today.

Iif Lino does get a ban next week we will defo miss his goal kicking in a game that could be very close.
