Don’t know. It’s still speculation that he’s leaving, press and especially this forum are usually wrong.

However if he is then it depends on the injury.

Likely to be 3/4 weeks it seems but I do believe injury permitting we will see him line up again.

He will have to hit some scintillating form to squeeze into the World Cup squad though if he does return.

Yep. That's why I laugh at those who say his injury is contrived as part of some great conspiracy - this was Toms year for Rep footy and this has just about blown it I'm afraid, poor lad.

Yes totally agree. The injury is 100% legitimate and it’s just a real shame all round. If Tom were able he would be in the team.

His chance of making the World Cup was this year and while I don’t think it’s a closed door the chance will be slim. The only way he will get that slim chance is to play and make himself noticed. A big ask but it’s a positive for trinity as he won’t be short of motivation whether he’s here or not next season.

Tupou is having another operation and won’t be back any time soon
Tom had a groin strain and was out for six weeks they are hoping to have him in training in a couple of weeks ..

Anyway getting back to the Salford game ….

Not for one minute do i believe that there is any conspiring issues to why tom isnt playing hes injured quite simples, but this is why im happy for him to go he is a great player and scored some fantastic trys but for a club like us who dont have large budget and a lad i can only assume is on a good wage we need him or the player on goid money on the pitch and sadly for both the club and player himself he isnt

Hard luck TJ. The lad deserves better - but if it’s right he’s signed for Catalans I hope they look after him as well as we have!
Hopefully we can have Murphy and Kershaw or whoever on the field more then Tom was able to be.

Although I get your point in Toms case he’s still worth it even if he’s only available fifty percent of the time. You just can’t replace players like Tom.

But does he play 50% of the time? I get it if we had the money like some clubs but the sad fact is we dont,im not having a pop at tom hes a quality atracker and deffo one of bwdt in sl but the clubs needs a bigger for me
