Re: Salford away : Sun Jun 26, 2022 4:47 pm
Every game Minns has played, including the Boxing Day friendly, has confirmed that he just isn't even top championship standard. Most of us knew this before we signed him and said so repeatedly. Croft I'm a bit surprised about. We were already looking at our usual defeat over there before that shocking back line was announced but god what a miss match it turned out to be. Salford just repeated what they did to Leeds a few weeks back but with even greater effect against probably the worst back line we've ever put out in Super League..

You know it’s bad when the official Salford Red Devil’s twitter account is leaving Micky taking GIF’s on our twitter account about the result.

This is what I can’t understand about Minns being selected … the fact our coach even considers him is extremely worrying !!!

Think we can all agree our recruitment needs to be 10x better for next season. The so called back ups aren’t good enough for the championship.

After seeing that 'performance' we may have difficulty persuading anyone to sign.

Somebody mentioned earlier in the thread about Hull and Hull KR being hardly any better.

I’ll put today’s result in a bit of context.

Earlier in June, I attended, with Mrs EW and our daughter, the Hull KR v Salford game, in the hospitality bit as it was her birthday.

Hull KR won by something like 46-16, with barely breaking into a sweat.

We stayed on and listened to TS after the game, and when asked about interchanges, he said that the two props were going well, Andy weren’t tiring, so he kept them out there.

Sadly, I disagree, right now we are much worse, and the problems aren’t going away

Hopefully that includes Taylor. Watched him today and was not impressed. Trundled it in and went to the floor like a sack of spuds mostly. We should steer clear.

Anyone who turns up next week, regardless if you have a ticket or not, then you're part of the problem. The club won't listen till you act and the ground is empty.

Possibly the most stupid post I have ever read!

Get a chuffing grip.

Disgraceful it may have been and I called it, though I'm shocked by the scoreline, how the hell does making the club bankrupt help FFS.

There's something rotten about this performance, and I don't just mean on the pitch ...

Yep.

I'm sorry but WP's coaching style and team selections baffle me. Hate to say it but he's so far out of his depth it's scary.

it would seem the players agree with you too. Looked like a real 'protest' performance to me.

To Trojan horse, Taylor sounds like our soft of player, we keep doing this stupid behavior, it wouldn't surprise if he had already signed but not declared disclosed by Trinity !
Sorry for this post, but it's on truth based on what we keep doing, other clubs & agents are aware !!!!!
