The clubs a shambles and if the present rumours are true the club must take full responsibility for the contract situation. I have no idea if the club concider any of the present players involved as major key players, but if they do why wasn't contract extentions offered at the start of the season. I would also say that if you don't consider the captain of the club and major playmaker a key player somethings wrong. Wakefield start every season on the back foot mainly because of the poor showing in the transfer market. Batch I would imagine must be a money thing because HKR will not be much better than Trin providing Trinity can stay up. A club with no ambition or any intention of improvements sends the wrong message to the players and fans, loyal players become frustrated resulting in wanting away. Change in attitude and directions needed, but I'm willing to bet nothing will change Just what are your intentions for the club Mr Carter.

I don’t think he’s ever been anything but clear that he wants a solvent and sustainable Wakefield Trinity… and that’s a long game. I would like a football director with football experience making football decisions … but that’s the only change I would make at board level.

The only part I agree with is when you say you have no idea. You say its a shambles but you don't know any of the facts apart from poor results on the field. I don't know either but I'd like to wait and see which are rumours and which are facts.

Most fickle fans ever.
Reading social media and this forum it’s laughable.
If you support the club, support the club.
So much negativity over a player that takes a big chunk of the cap and hardly plays and a lad who in truth has stagnated at the club and doesn’t get a game over 2 very average players.
Miller I think is a big miss if he goes.
Batch and TJ very replaceable.
Same “fans” should be blushing but will be giving it the big one when we stay up (and we will).

I believe we will stay up (hope), though our performances need a massive up turn to do this. I get why a lot of fans are abit gloom, bottom skirting for so long and going by our recent recruitment doesn’t fill you with positivity at times. If Miller, Batch and obviously Johnstone, and who ever else for that matter go than like you said, that’s free’s up a significant chunk. But who are we going to convince to come for next year with how close we are skirting about the bottom with Toulouse.
You have to admit it’s very frustrating being a Wakefield fan, as beating Toulouse might of given us enough breathing space to actually distance ourselves from the thought of relegation.

We don’t need to replace TJ.
Batch is a squad player in a team filled with squad players.
Miller for me will be a big miss.
This is a huge offseason for Trinity and what should be the end of our transitional years if done right.

Whilst I think many on here often overreact, I do feel in a time like this with so much speculation of players moving on and poor on field performances we would benefit from some sort of direction from the club.
Looking on to next year, I’d imagine season ticket sales will plummet given currently we have no indication that the supposedly departing players will be replaced.
Miller is very disappointing if true, I saw a stat recently that he’s really close to becoming the longest serving overseas player. That would’ve been nice to see!

1-5 with or without Johnstone I’m happy with. The transition for me is 6-13, we have a lot of bodies OCC and linked else where. The transition would of been made a lot more easy with a few more wins and a cushion to give potential recruits the confidence of signing for us next year. I just hope we turn it around sooner rather than later to try distance ourselves from the threat of relegation to give ourselves the best opportunity to recruit before we miss out on players who would of fit the bill for us.

We are probably the most loyal supporters considering the rubbish we have had to put up with for several seasons. We go to a ground where the total expenditure on upkeep is probably below £1000. I would remind those of you that there is a cost of living crisis with any excess money limited or nonexistent. I find it amazing that you believe however loyal a supporter they are, the thought of paying out about £300 for a season ticket or £25 per match will come first. What will the prices be once the redevelopment is completed. We are in the entertainment business which I believe some at the top have forgotten, we are run on the cheap, the players we bring on are usually when the best have already signed for other clubs and have no other options. The others are like Gaskell who have deteriorated but we offer them multi year contracts. I presume you can tell me why it will be different this time because I doubt the savings in contract payments will be used in full for squad strengthening. The club take our money but what they provide is not worth it as an experience and has not been for quite sometime but still we pay. We don’t ask much but to lose what are our Crown Jewels of our current squad does not bode well if we do survive.
