Nah not for me. Willie Poching is either the man for the job or he isn’t. I’ve said this before but if at nearly 50 years of age and having spent many years learning his trade alongside some damn good coaches he needs his hand holding then the answer is he isn’t. Then Kear would be a short term option as coach. But if there are funds available for Kear then that money would be better spent on the team.

I'd have him back in a shot. I'd have gone for him when Chester left.

It sort of puts a question mark regarding the Poaching appointment. I have no doubt JK will be a lift for the players and supporters but it's a strange one. Not sure it's money we'll spent or not

He certainly helped Chester get the best out of the players and I think WP needs similar assistance. We can’t do much now but improve with what we have and Kear certainly has the pedigree to do so. I think we can all agree he is a motivator, so I would welcome his return.

God no !! We cannot go back… been there , done it ! Poor W Poching .. inherited players he prob wouldn’t want , went well last season and up to cas game this time . Does no one give any merit to the fact we played 5?? games in around 2 weeks couldn’t get on the training ground because of injuries and short turnarounds to put things right . Yes we’ve just had the break we desperately needed …! Unless Poching has asked for assistance then he’s either the coach or he isn’t ! Think King Kear is long gone unless in an advisory role .

We moan when where in the do do and now moan when we are plotting a course out .Poching has been sold a stinker in the fact that we have at present a team who don’t seem to want to get stuck in and fight our way out of the mess we are in , and if that means Kear giving them all the rounds of the kitchen or some well meaning words of wisdom to help poching in his first tenure as a coach , I’m in . The cynical side of me wonders if this is Chester’s revenge on the signing front as he will have know the writing was on the wall , and thought have some of that , before he was reluctantly given the chop , at least a season too late imo . How else can you explain that last round of recruitment, shambolic to say the least .

Agree wit what you say about changing things round … and provided it’s with Pochings blessing that’s good but if he’s undermined it won’t bode well imo

I kind of agree, they just seem to be undermining themselves half the time. So if he came back, that's him, Poching, Cummins, Applegarth, is Dickens still knocking about as well?! Like you say, the money should be used on players, it's like we are saying we got it wrong with Poching. The Butler signing is like saying, we got it wrong with Sid from London etc, etc, it just seems to be bloody Groundhog day at Belle Vue!!
