Lol. I agree.
I was just making the point that a good team ended up at ghe bottom through injuries and poor form.
Everyone had them down for relegation but they managed to pull it out.

I just feel those saying we'll be relegated need to just hang on a bit longer. Who knows what will happen.

Wasn't it also because Burnley lost? If Burnley had won it wouldn't have matter that Leeds won,

I was saying Barnsley FC were going down right from last November PT, and guess what.........................they did!!!!

I’d say we are more like Burnley. A team who wouldn’t spend as much on players as others, survived relegation several times, often fortunately, but ultimately whose luck ran out and now have to somehow service their debts with championship money (think of us and a £3+million mortgage to pay).

Of course we can turn it round Poptart,but I've just watched the Leeds match and the bit of optimism I had has gone. Was dismayed how amateurish we were and on that showing definitely relegation material.Need to start changing things pretty quickly and show a massive improvement for Hull match!

Indeed. To be honest it even knocked me back a bit but ultimately there is still time but as you say something has to change.

The really sad bit for me imo in all this fiasco is that we have seen these players put great performances in ,we took Catalans close , hull close, Competitive against saints ,wheels fell off against Leeds ,then back on the horse against Toulouse and wires twice and a good win against Salford with a nail biting finish to boot . Then sadly down hill since . For me it’s not fitness ,they went toe to toe with saints for the best part of the whole game , it certainly shouldn’t be skill sets , it’s mental toughness and that passion that for me is sadly lacking with the players . They just don’t seem to be giving that extra that sets the best teams apart from the rest, and that became apparent for mr watching Max struggling to effect a tackle and players stood within helping distance that didn’t bother helping .

they are two different sports how the hell can you compare between them for a start off Leeds was lucky playing against 9 men in the end who had nothing to play for.

Ah OK I see. I'll try to dumb it down next time.

1 Many sports learn from each other.
2 Both things I was comparing were about teams on the edge of relegation where everyone had them odds on to go down
3 they turned it round by playing better than they had in the previous games that got them in the mess
4 it was just something to post that was different to the relegation doom and gloom
5 added bonus that it gave you something to be irrationally grumpy about.
