Yup Gaskell definitely brings different options but sadly the team don’t seem willing to read the script, so no point playing him sadly.
Why change a way 16 player's play for one person .Unless you are T Smith .or D Brough . especially if Miller was not band he would be no were near the team

We need to be focused mentally on this game and rip into them from the off ,don’t give them a sniff of the action ,and we treat them with disrespect at our peril . We have a dubious record of getting out enthused by the under dogs , whilst giving the big guns a run for their money ,this simply can’t keep happening ,we need to turn a corner now and show them no respect .We have far too much power and skill in our team ,it’s the mentality side of our game that needs to toughen up .

Fair point if he was a prop, but he’s a playmaker and that’s the point. Why if it’s ok for those you mention then why not Gaskell. Don’t get your logic to be honest.

4 year ago would have agreed but not now .Question was D Brough as good the second time he came to Wakefield ,and it is the same answer for Gaskell way past is best .This as been the trouble at Wakefield for the last few year ,on paper they look good signing but you do not win matches on paper .It is now they play on the field

This is how I see it. We need the players to step up for this game and play to their potential. No more excuses or heartless performance. This is not a 'must win game' BUT by the heck it will make life a lot easier if we do win.

That’s the thing that makes it all the more frustrating watching them at times , they go into their shells and don’t play to their potential , once that monkey is off our backs we have some good rugby players in our ranks who are not only good enough to win tomorrow but push us up the table . On paper we are the better team ,but we need to stamp our authority on the game and boss it from the off . If Toulouse get a sniff we’ll be in for a torrid afternoon.
