Correct, I'd take Cooper in a heartbeat but its HIGHLY unlikely, as Warrington will have no props left.

What on?

The only place you will find a proven prop this season is the NRL. We don’t have the quota spot or the time to get it through.

There are obvious negatives, however there are obvious positives. If he works out just reasonably well he’s an absolute bargain and being young has a long term future.

Someone saw enough in him to pick him for the England knights. Also this is a WP signing and as we’ve seen he’s not one to panic. I don’t know but I suspect Poching does a lot of research on his signings so this won’t be a panic buy.

It’s certainly better than a Championship player imho even though I accept there are some good ones they are generally unavailable.

This lad is probably as high end as we can find let alone afford.

Maybe if Walmsley got bored of winning every week (almost) and fancied a new challenge, we could have him on trial for a couple of months :D

It's Rob's birthday on Sunday, 24 ideal age for a prop !! 2 points would be a nice present for all of us.

Big body, career stuttered a little but he is still young and has enough quality to get a call up for England Knights.

Not a quota player, won’t be on a huge wage and will no doubt have something to prove.

Good signing if it is finalised in my opinion.

At least W Poaching is buying younger players .Do not think is signings have been to bad so far ( maybe Mimms ) .Think the Ozz player from Liegh is brings more to the team than some make out .Fans have got to relise we do not have a lot of cash to throw about .

Bit unfair on Minns. He was always going to be back up and I think he scored a good try but just landed funny injuring himself. Not seen enough to really judge him.

If your referring to Whitbread. I think he’s been good. Tends to make regular consistent metre gains and puts himself about in defence. Overall think he’s been a good pick up. He’s not a flash player and for me looks like he’s bulked up for the prop role.

Not sure why fans have to be extreme. Nobody saw Hall becoming a first choice so quick, in which case Mins was a shrewd signing. Army Dave doesn't seem to have panned out but again nobody saw Murphy moving on so quick.

Alegend, Coaches have many gifts but hindsight is not one. If WP could go back he'd probably not bother with either but at the time it was a shrewd move. Ditto Hood and Lineham for CC. Gaskell was only dodgy due to his injury issues.

For me, the issue is not who we signed and who we didn't but the fact that some of them along with some existing players are not playing to their full potential. That potential; won't win us SL but it should have us higher up the table than we are. So instead of blaming everyone else, I prefer to blame the real culprits. In my experience it's nearly always the players who are at fault but people chose to excuse them for reasons not obvious to me.

At the tail end of his career and seems in a player in decline.

Was the best forward on the pitch against us in both games.

Agree with that. Not quite sure what’s happened with Army Dave. There was flashes of something there early season. Maybe he’s an ongoing project but Murphy seems to be developing nicely so it’s all positive.

I agree regarding the players. Its within their capability to challenge mid table should a number of them show consistency but for whatever reason they haven’t been consistent in their performances. It’s quite bemusing how a team can win 4 on the bounce to the lose 5/6 on the bounce without and huge personnel changes.

The good thing about this 2 week plus break is it gives the playing staff a chance to reset and properly prepare for our opposition in Tolouse. Something we haven’t had the luxury of during and after Easter period.

I’m expecting a professional and strong performance against Tolouse.

I still believe if the players put in the desire and application that this team can rise a few places up the league. It’s up to them.
