As a Trinity fan, I'm absolutely gutted that Johnstone is leaving, although there is comfort in the fact that it's not to Leeds (or Cas).
However, for the player, I wish him well.
At this point, he owes Trinity nothing and it's been an absolute privilege to watch a promising youngster grow into a World Class player.
His debut at Leeds, was just remarkable and what followed has been as good as anything that I've seen in 50+ years.
For him, I hope that he gains some silverware and the move to Catalan probably ensures that he will get more chance on the International stage.
One of the best and certainly THE most entertaining players we've ever had, Some of those finishes just leave you gasping with admiration.
The real downer as a fan and for the club is that with so many rumours about our better players, we could be in an extremely perilous position and the mantra of not being a "selling club" could be in tatters.
