Tupou is an attacking player I agree and when he’s on he can really bust up some defences. It’s just getting less frequent as time goes by. Personally I’d have put Tupou outside Arundel on the left wing. I think he’s a better choice than Kershaw or Kay but I have no qualms that his recent displays he deserves to sit out a game.

I really like Arundel and if he’d stayed injury free I reckon would have been our first choice centre.

There’s enough in that team to give Leeds a game and win.

Kay deserves dropping more than Kershaw. In fact, Kershaw is a bit like Tupou in style, both can make huge yards in attack and score useful tries, both can be quite clumsy with the ball and both can be poor in defence at times. Kershaw is still young, Kay isn't and should have done better last week than he did for a player with so much experience, I know much of it is championship but the basics still apply.

Tupou’s form has been poor this season. Arundel had a decent game against Hull and got dropped. Tupou comes back in and has a bad game against Catalan so think Chester may have actually seen sense on this and not given him a second chance. Think in the past far to many times players have played poor and still been given the shirt week after week. Yes we don’t have as better quality to do this with some positions but where we do we should be dropping players if we can.

I know CC is a man with a target on his head but you have to feel for any coach in this situation.

When you know what a player is capable of it’s hard to accept it when they no longer are. You’re looking for that last hurrah and it just won’t come.

Bill looks spent but we only see that matchday not day in day out and CC may think it’s just confidence and he may be right.

Whatever the case Arundel looked better in one game than Bill has in 18 month and thankfully CC has accepted that.

I’m far from convinced Joe will be the key but put simply he is the better choice. Shame as Bill is great to watch when on form.

I'm no CC basher but surely it's part of the coaches job to tweek better performance s from his players, maybe dropping him is part of the process.

He was probably dazed and/or in pain after being dropped on his head.

It could simply be that he just can't find the form or he just can't shake off injuries. All careers come to an end, I don't know if Bills is or isn't but it could be. Could be for TJ if that injury persists.

Some players like Ellis seem to be made of granite but they are pretty rare.

The team as a whole and not just bill are suffering from a lack of confidence, get that first win under our belt and you’ll see a difference in the plays .Our edge defence has been suspect for ages , BJB could score some cracking tries and in the same game let some howlers in . We get sucked in ever time from the wings inwards , then it’s a simple run round or a floating pass into acres of space . Every team suffers from this but we seem particularly suspect at times .
Get those ball going to hand instead of the floor , make the tackles stick ,stop the offloads and go back to basics and you’ll see a difference
Confidence , easier said than done to get it back I know but that’s what I feel we are lacking and not the skill set.

Just look at last season, after the win against Leeds we looked like a completely different team and were unlucky not to have finished with at least 2 more points. Back-to-back wins are the key, then you start to believe, and then you need the luck with decisions and injuries, if you get that the season will look a whole lot different at the end than it does now.

You've been around and we have all seen it happen,

You've been around and we have all seen it happen,

I genuinely think a win against Leeds will boost our confidence massively, because losing is a hard habit to break no matter how good your team, we’ve seen it in all sports. Confidence is key, I remember Leigh a few years ago In the championship were unbeaten and played a very good Leeds side and nearly beat them, because they were playing with such confidence. I’ve said before it’s as if we’ve forgotten how to win.
