Not too impressed with those fixtures to be honest but at least it's Rugby League.

All games quite evenly matched! Can't see a problem.

Evenly matched doesn't always equate to entertainment. Personal opinions and all that.

People will never be happy with the Magic Weekend line up. Think Hudds have a good record at Magic so be good to turn them over.
What would a Cockney know about rugby league?

Pity we are on 1st as I can never bear remaining for subsequent fixtures if we lose.
This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

Do what we do, watch us maybe all the next game then make your way home and some more tinnys on the sofa whilst watching the recorded last game, that’s if you used your own transport :thumb:

I cannot bear watching other teams find it pretty boring tbh. I am not a fan of the event it destabilises a completion where a team can get relegated along with the rediculous loop fixtures.

I love the event, especially at Newcastle. To be present for that Jacob Miller drop goal was unreal and still sends a shiver through my body watching replays. Only other sporting moment that comes close was the Michael Owen goal against Argentina in the World Cup.

The loop fixture I agree with but magic weekend really is magic certainly at Newcastle.

You might as well say the CCup does that but you wouldn’t get rid.

What magic lacks is an incentive. I’d award an extra point to the winning team, maybe even double. That should up the intensity and give it some edge. I don’t think it would break anyone’s season but it certainly might make one. Just a thought, won’t happen.
