Why we love our game : Sun Oct 13, 2019 7:21 pm
Today i attended a junior under 14s match kippax v normanton.the game was of massive importance as it was the title decieder who won the game won the league the losers would finish second.the game was played in horrible weather conditions and the rugby produced was a credit to both sides.there was plenty going in the match some heated moments by both sets of players which with the importance is understandable.BUT come the final whistle hands where shaken cheers where carried out but no bitterness or nastiness which carries on into the clubhouse after looking around seeing lads from both teams mixing with each other like they where good friends you wouldnt of believed for 50 mins or so these lads where enemys and at each other .this is how our great sport should be
And why we love our great game

I have scouted for Wakey and attended many games for a few years now and have the same conversation many times with coaches and parents and totally agree with how they come as one after in the clubhouse, yes it was bloody awful weather today at Lock Lane , good game though.
