Langley assuming thats who you mean, has quite a history of being a bit of a prat towards Trinity, don't know what his problem is but on this occasion, I'm not willing to let it go.

Maybe I remember him getting homesick and "Really wanting to play for his home town club" or maybe not. I wasn't aware of the history so we will look elsewhere

I think apart from what BLM says I think Langly was one of three players who Bradford wanted to swap for Ellis and he refused point-blank and that was the season we had nearly made the GF, he really has had an issue, his prerogative but I think its too deep unlike CC who refused us but was willing to leave it at that. Just how I see it.

Langley agreed to join initially along with Reardon in exchange for Ellis and cash if memory serves me right though it is fading now, then a rumour appeared that Leeds where interested in him, Langley then decided he didn't want to sign and the deal fell through and Leeds Instantly signed Ellis. Good move by GH putting that rumour out, the last part is a guess the rest is true.

Correct. I remember the Bradford board immediately quashing the rumour, and absolutely furious with what they saw as skullduggery by Leeds. Unsettling Langley, ending Bradfords swap option and paying us a cash fee for Gareth Ellis.

The funniest thing was Bradford fans not rating Gareth Ellis and being up in arms at the thought of losing automaton Langley.
