He can't quote a radio station, because none have reported that we were poor. It's just his miserable claptrap.
No, we aren't Saints. No we aren't safe. But don't have a downer on the performance when you didn't even go! (Or, it seems, even listen to a radio or follow social media commentary).
Don't care about him TBH..... Just a bit peeved that he "insinuated" that we were just a little less poor than them.... As he wasn't there and I was....

Back on your circle jerk I see and now joined by a friend or alt, whichever!
I listened to Radio Humberside and the co commentator said on at least 2 occasions that Wakefield were nothing special and that Wakefield hadn’t needed to be great to win because Rovers were so poor.
I wasn’t on a downer but neither will I join your over the top reaction to a win.
Keep making stuff up if you want but I neither said Wakefield we’re poor or that they were atrocious, I suspect you know that but are too conceited to admit you were wrong.

Again, where did I say that and where are the posts from the last week in which I ”banged on about performance”?
I merely applied a bit of caution to a win being seen as the be all and end all of our recent form only to be told to F Off!

Suit yourself.
Radio Blunderside is to impartial RL reporting, what the BNP is to social integration.
I can't see anyone on this thread getting carried away and having an "over the top" reaction.
If you meant HKR were atrocious (based on Radio Humberside), then fair enough, but don't try to undermine the performance of Wakey - what more could they do???
Having seen the highlights, I am disappointed by Rocky - a stroll in try, which he could surely have put under the sticks and an all-round lack of enthusiasm on sealing the game.

Who gives a jolt about a bias local radio station.....????? So if he told you black was white and to jump off a cliff you would have believed him and then jumped???? Pity you didn't wait and read what posters had said who were actually there... ..... Who have also said the same thing by the way.... The fact that 1-17 they outplayed them.
I'm sure most other posters would agree that it was the fact that you weren't actually there. That's what I had the problem with.
I’ve attended hundreds and hundreds if not thousands of games over 50 years so I’m not worried what someone thinks about my not attending a particular match. However, I did sit and listen to the whole match commentary on Radio Humberside, from that I formed an opinion, which I believe is quite usual.
Now at no point did I say Wakefield we’re poor or insinuate such. Neither did I say Wakefield were atrocious or that Wakefield only won because HKR were atrocious.
Neither did I spend the last week banging on about performance as you quite wrongly said in an attempt to make me look hypocritical.
I don’t care about you TBH but I do care that people tell lies about what I say and also pretend I said something I didn’t. Especially when said poster is saying stuff on here that they’d never say to my face.

It's only my opinion but I thought Rovers were dangerous, especially when Garbutt came on. We had a period where we were trying to win it on every play and they took a bit of control. Mcguire realised Hampshire was outgunned for a high kick but he started going at BJB instead who handled the kicks well. Tupou covered Hampshire much better and plugged the vulnerability. We also put a lot of pressure on Garbutt too and he tired out quickly.
I thought their tactics early on to play around us was good but the wind was so wild they found the long passes difficult and we managed to run them down.
We played Brough between centre and wing to make him less of a target which worked too.
What I did like was Escare as defensive line manager. He was harassing the team to get off the line quicker and they definitely responded.
We were keener in defense especially the third man in to clamp the legs.
In the first half they got their foot hold with a few indiscipline penalties but in the second half we stepped up the speed and made fewer mistakes which won the game. I think the speed was driven by Miller taking first receiver more often. He put some big hits in too.
That game has been coming for a month. Hull and Sts managed to still beat us but the attitude has been there for a while, just not the execution.
I think Wigan will be tough but I fancy us against Warrington and London.
