With talks ongoing lets hope all the parties involved can get round a table and thrash out a deal.Seriously think a bit of good news at the moment would be the tonic we need to help us get out of the shathole we currently find ourselves in.

Rocky is our best player, so for 70 days the coach comes into work, shares the same working space with Rocky, travels with him to away games, one would hope that presumably they talk tactics, have lunch etc etc and not once did the coach think it might be a good idea to mention the offer the club had made, to get some feedback, to see how the lad felt about the offer. Perhaps even suggest to the Chairman or who ever has ultimate responsibility re player signings that would it be a good idea to have a meeting with Rocky to discuss feelings and a way forward. The coach must have been concerned that he was in danger of loosing his prize asset. Then again our coach didn't think we were in a relegation battle so maybe it is conceivable that the coach and player haven't had a chat.

He's not our best player but the rest is a reasonable point.

I personally think it would be a good tonic as well, I think most fans would like to see it done so let’s hope that sense prevails and all parties get round the table and discuss the contract and get it over the line. Where’s there’s a will there’s a way.

its all about opinions in terms of consistency throughout this season he probably has been one of them he hasn’t suffered massive drops in form. I thought bill and fafita were playing outstanding till the injuries and we need a few to find some form quickly

Presumably because the offer was far less than a starting super league fullback would expect, even considering we probably pay the smallest wages in the league. How many players do you think sign the first deal offered to them? I would say it is a very small number and agents wouldn't be doing the best for their clients if that is the case.

For me, best players are, when fit,

Johnstone
Fifita
Tupou
Ashurst

in that order, which actually does show how hard injuries have hit.

I'd put Hampshire somewhere in the next band but wouldn't argue at 5th spot on current form.

He is, however, the most versatile player at the club who has played well at FB/Wing and HB and could easily play hooker as well. You can't knock that for me and if I were a coach I'd consider that such a huge plus for any player.

The reason I don't include him in the top 4 is simple and nothing to do with his ability which is subjective anyway. It's simply that IMHO, when fit those four players are automatic choices and would be at most SL clubs. Hampshire is yet to do that when he does he gets my vote.

Daddycool as said he is willing to let the saga go public if the agent is .After what he as done for the club think the fans should leave it to Daddycool.Agents are spoiling all sports they do not care about the club they are just interested in what is in it for them.Still some way to catch football up one agent made 20 million out of one transfer
