It’s not his job to defend the team that responsibility belongs to the coach. The board have done what have been asked of them, the best squad in years, we now own our ground and shovelling snow when required.
They can do no more and should not be abused for it. I presume they provide the players requested by the coach who job is to turn them into a team preferably a competitive one.

2) Believe me, PT, after buying my ticket for 63 years, IMO I have a "stake" in the Club

My post that prompted your response was not for the purpose of causing grief for MC. I'm not that sort of person, It was purely to obtain some idea of what the heck is going on at our Club, straight from the horse's mouth.
It doesn't have to be on here; it could be a statement in the WE via an "open letter". We, the fans would like to know.

Regardless of whether MC posts any more on here or not, the bloke has worked wonders for this club, and I would imagine he knows full well that any morons that have verbally abused him are not true supporters of this great club - just morons exercising their only brain cell.

In fact, I don't know one true supporter who has anything but praise for MC (and CB)

I don't think MC should ever come on here. I don't think he should even look at this forum. It's too depressing and people criticise him even when we are winning. If I owned shares in Trinity and read some of the comments on here i would sell my stake if anyone would buy it.

It's appalling if he's been verbally abused, and will probably lead him to question himself if it's worth the effort to carry on etc......but he's also responsible for hiring and firing said coach, and if the unthinkable does happen, then he knows he will get some serious flak for not maybe changing things before it was too late.

No fan, true supporter or not, has a right to verbally abuse a player or a Director in such a way, especially not in front of his family & children!

Micheal is an utter hero to me, he’s the best thing that’s ever happened to our club
