 it’s easy to criticise and find faults when people are not involved. There’s lots of hard work and commitment that goes into these, hopefully, future SL players. We’ve done okay so far.

Ive seen the work done by the youth set up maybe not so much the academy but scolaship. Mark applegarth seems to doing a good job my lad been down over last few weeks in regards scolaship and its clear that the intent is to make sl players rather than best scholaship and academy sides.thnk more praise shuld be given to the whole youth set up from the guys who stand in the rain scouting these kids all the way up to the first team coaching set up

That's 4 wins in a row and with a couple of our best players missing yesterday, great performance and Somme terrific tries scored :thumb:

Bit of a battle, was it?
"The problem when you play Leeds is that they are a huge 'confidence' side. If you get on top of them, they will cower and go away, but when they get in front their chests puff out and they start whooping as they make tackles. " (Jon Wilkin)

“Leeds just wander around looking like they’re doing nothing” (Jon Wilkin)

"Jon Wilkin's tight pants and coffee shop have not helped him to see the bigger picture or allowed him to get a firm grip on reality." (leeds owl)

Cracking U16s game tonight at BV, Wakefield 28 Widnes 28, 2 good ball handling sides, Wakefield let a decent lead go but all credit to Widnes who got themselves back into it. Good half back pairing on both sides.
