If people are bidding to give the shirt to the club, I don't have a problem in not bidding against each other, ateotd it's only a few fans on here we're talking about anyway. If someone wants it for their own collection then they're obviously gonna bid no matter.

Be nice if the club could land this as well but after stumping up big time on the cup final shirt it is a bit much to ask.

I've got no problem with his son getting whatever price he can for Turner's memorabilia, its his stuff. Don't know if the son cares for Trinity or not but I doubt the family lived in the lap of luxury off the back of DT's career so why not cash in?

I remember Derek Turner had a successful furniture delivery/removal business in the early 1960s when I was a lad, he delivered a easy chair to my mums house on Lupset, I had to sign for it, I always regretted not asking for his autograph.

He had a very successful furniture removal business with many lucrative contracts. I think his son still runs the business. He certainly worked for his dad before and after DT retired.
