Thanks for defending me, but Vastman doesnt bother me, and Im big enough, old enough and ugly enough to defend myself.

Also, I already go to Specsavers. Maybe next time I go and choose some new specs, I'll look harder, and try to find them rose tinted specs, some people wear

That's good, I'd hate it if you were a victim in all this, any more half back rumours circulating?

So are we all friends again now?
Seemed a big argument over possible maybe half back issue that might not even be there

FWIW i think if we are looking at signing a half back, Matty smith would be the one. Big game experience, english and after being dropped for a young lad, probably has a point to prove.

That being said I am happy with hampshire at 7, and signing a less experienced junior 'project' as a back up to Hampshire and Miller

More seriously, according to our other forum, your interested in Dom Peyroux for next year. No idea how true mind.

Matty Smith? Jesus. He was dropped for a young lad for a reason.

Not a bad player. Has improved massively over last few years.

Question is though, is Payroux may better than what we already have.

Also, would he not take up a quota spot

Because the young lad was better/in better form than him, does not mean that he is not a good player or a good fit for us.

TBH I would not take Peyroux, I think we are in a strong position in the Centres and we are not crying out for a make shift second rower. With tight budgets we need to concentrate on the key areas we need to improve and Chester seems to identified that as a half back.
