Not for me...
he's struggling for fitness (foot)
Has off field issues (court case)
Is knocking on (32 next)
one would consider blanch established on one wing and the other wing is up for grabs between george and murphy and gleeson if johnson ends up in the centres...we also have plenty of cover in the squad who can fill in on the wing...bringing a 30 somthing winger in, with plenty of baggage, and putting good, young, fit, enthusiastic british talent in the reserves (when they are capable of playing superleague) doesnt make sense to me...!
So we look at other boyds raynor could fill....
full back? blaymire is first choice and the above names youngsters we already have are capable of playing at full back in blaymires absense.
Centre? we consider millard first choice. gleeson has number 3 so we presume he will be our other first choice centre - we have oceans of cover...johnson, JD, richie 'length of the field' moore, murphy, george.
6,7,9 - never in a month of sundays
The pack - see above.
Wages? probably demands the higher end of the scale
conclusion...raynor would be a very expensive squad player who has more issues than gordon brown at the moment and if we're all honest....i dont think he'd get in the 2010 first 17....!
