Roby didn't make yards for fun, he had a ten minute purple patch in the second half, jeeez people get carried away. He is however a truly excellent player and one Saints will struggle to replace when the time comes.

Fages was also a thorn in our side the whole match, not just Roby.
Saints have class just about all over the pitch and are level above us.
Money talks !

You say money talks but it’s interesting to go through the Saints side and see just how many of their talents are from the St Helens set up...

I accept that, and I know we too have some class homegrown players, but I feel we won't be at the top of the tier and on St's level until we can spend to the cap.
I'm not complaining at all about the players we have - perhaps before the season is out they will raise to the level of the St's players.....?

Well funded youth set up and able to throw money at the players to retain them. We’re getting there on that front but will perhaps never be able to attract the marquee players to compliment our own production line
What would a Cockney know about rugby league?

hmm, I'm not sure they're a class above us tbh.
They did enough to win the game but we we're right on it till the end.
It kinda reminded me of last years fixture, one which they lost by not much.
A class above ?, nah

I'll be glad when we've won a game though, we need to set the ball rolling, all this talk of what we should be winning if we want to end up in position X in 20 odd games time is daft  , lets just get playing our game, try string some wins together and see where we are.
