What where the prices like last season roughly? Not had 1 for over 10 years but daughter has been to a few games this year and has really enjoyed herself and is now asking to ST's for xmas so just wondering what I need to budget for

I assume its not as simple as 2x the price of the half season tickets

I pay £26 a month over 10 months for a seat in the middle of the East. So you're looking at around £260 I would say

I'm a big defender of the prices but what I will say is that in the first year the prices are higher
You will benefit from the early bird offer, but not the Renewal price.

Season ticket prices are good value, as are the various memberships and half season tickets.

Don't agree however with the match day ticket pricing of £30 for the East Stand in particular - the stand the TV camera is facing is now equally as expensive as the West stand. Also £30 for away fans is ridiculous.

Think the clubs should get their heads together and charge £15 for away spectators to get more people into the stadium.Ok we will miss out when we play Saints and Warrington money wise but a packed stadium makes up for this. The plus side is away games become cheaper for all clubs looking at the away support this season and the north being closed might encourage more spectators coming back.Fact that on the forums of other clubs the £30 charged for away spectators has put a lot of people off .People are thinking twice especially when its on tv about going to away matches because of the cost factor.
Wakefield are charging £10 for their game against Wigan this Sunday lets see how many spectators take up this offer 3 of us going only because of the price otherwise we would listen to Bilko at home.

Completely agree with the principle that away fans should be charged less than home fans, not more.

Well unless they get maybe 2.5 times the amount they normally would then they'll lose money
So if Wigan normally take say 750/1000 then unless we take say 2000/2500 they'll lose out

Done this conversation too many times now, Cheap tickets isn't a long term solution

Whilst I have an issue with the club charging East stand prices when the North stand closes (I think that's wrong).

I don't think charging away fans less is the way to go, along with cheap or give away tickets.

25 for a North stand, whatever it is concessions and juniors (let's say its 15 for example) is fine.
Occasionally having a one off game like The Big one was, like the Wakey one is this week is OK but not long term viable

I do too, but a little less, not a lot less.

That said, I wonder if a fiver off a ticket price is that much of a decider, when the cost of transport is often the biggest factor in away travel cost.
