Lino must win an award for longest time taken to leave the pitch after a sin bin.

There may have been serious concerns if they hadn't managed to sneak a win against Hull (a woeful team themselves atm with no playmakers). 6 defeats from 7 now - probably on track to be their worst season in SL history. Powell is a very lucky boy to get a 2nd chance next year.

As for Wigan - sounded like a very loose game today with some good attack but half hearted defence. Looking at the league table and the remaining fixtures we could probably have done with Catalans losing yesterday, particularly with the ridiculous imbalances in the fixture list (us playing Saints and them playing Warrington next week).

Never got out of second gear and didn’t have to. Good exercise for next week in that it was a fairly low intensity game.

Second half both teams were clearly just going through the motions with an eye on next week. Scrappy, forcing the pass and generally poor.

Whenever Trinity came back at Wigan they just upped it by having more quality in the team.

Think if Wigan had consistently gone at the very inexperienced right edge all game like they did in the first 15 it would have been a cricket score.

Job done and on to the next one.

Be interesting to see their try’s back to see who’s at fault. From what it sounded like they were some bad defensive reads from Wigan.

Still good win for us posting 40+ points. Should give us confidence for next week. Should be a good game next week. The form we are in we should give any team a run for their money.

Some very lazy defence at times.

Once we hit 18 after about 12 minutes you could see what was going to happen for the rest of the game.

Some great stuff today and some truly terrible. 40 points from a very patchy performance isn't a bad place to be.

KPP is one of our best players and needs to be in the starting 13 every week and luckily I think Peet realises this.

What an athlete
