I completely agree although thankfully the regyular angry Saints mob of years gone by dont bother with this site anymore so we dont have to put up with their s***e

to be fair to the Saints fans that have posted, they have been reasonable in their arguments imo but i do understand the 'us against them' mentality that brews when Saints fans post here given previous history (of which we have all seen a lot of)

No mention of how great it is that we've put Sinfield and Burrow on there, or that we have pictures of them in our training ground (haven't we named a room after him also) or that we have players of our own knocked out on there, but someone draws a picture of Ben Flower punching someone and the RL world goes wild.

It just gets tiresome, to the point I wish we'd just pained it to p*** everyone off and had players from 2006 with wedges of cash coming out their pockets or something.

Ok I have to come out of my exile to respond to this one.

If you read all my comments on here you will see that personally I have alluded to being surprised at Wigan in relation to this as they have shown their class of late with various initiatives. I also reference to the work that Peet is doing on and off the field. He actually comes across as a good bloke, his comments pre-match on Good Friday about Saints and then his well wishes towards Bennison after the crusher tackle were well received. Light years away from what Wane or other managers would have said.

My comments are not anti-Wigan for the sake of it. I would've said just the same if it was any other club.

The image looks great, I really hope that Saints do something similar next year for our 150 year anniversary. My main gripe is the official club account tweeting it and signing it off commercially. That's all.

I promise that's my last comment on it now

I've no problem with not being agreed with. But since my initial post on the first page of this thread I've had "how high is your horse" "snowflake", "Saints fans making mountain out of molehills, "crying over nothing" etc so not really the same is it?

Secondly, my user name on Red Vee isn't Stu M so you wouldn't know my posts anyway. And FWIW in my opinion Hohaia was out unconscious when the second punch landed, he wasn't moving and had no way of defending himself, not sure how you can deny that? We don't know if that single punch ended his career do we but it didn't help!

If we are being pedantic also, if you watch the game back Flower makes first contact with Hohaia running back which leads to Hohaia's intial (admittedly) cheap shot

i said 'How high is your horse' because you came riding in on it expecting a furore from us all whilst seeminlg unaware what was being written on your board in response to what a lot f us feel is a bit of a non event with a cartoon drawing.

In respect to your earlier post, i don't think anyone has ignored your view. I haven't. I have read them and disagree with them, that's why i haven't replied more. You have your view and i have mine, no bother. I feel the reaction form Saints has been way OTT and borderline criminal in some circles.

Just to add, i encourage any poste from other clubs to post on here, unless it's an obvious fishing expedition they don't get any abuse. We have lots of opposition come on here and comment, usually in the build up to a game and when we have been beaten because teams love letting us know when we have been beat. We are still the cup final match. Anyway, keep coming and keep posting.

End of the day, this picture is for the Wigan fan base who condone things like this. Target audience and all that.
Don’t get why people are getting upset?

Considering their absence from the board since the semi final defeat you would have expected more
