Last I heard was Peet straight after the game saying it wasn’t as bad as it looked. Hopefully just a short term thing.

On Cooper I think it’s doubtful given Philbins now out for the season, although they have Harrison back fit, signed a big NRL prop and signed a commentator who apparently plays prop.

If Partington is still out (and I am assuming Ellis) it will be interesting to see the squad for Sunday and if we go with 4 props in the 17 how we rotate them. If Ellis & Partington are unavailable for the Saints game then we really will be stretched against the old enemy.

Smithies and Bateman will be back in for that game mate, not props per say but more than hold there own in the middle.

Think smithies has one more game.

Really want to see shorrocks give a go at 13. Could do with putting a bit more size on but hopefully could be the next ball playing 13

Smithies will be available for the Saints game. He was given four game ban (2x2) He missed Cas (a), Salford (a), Toulouse (h) and will miss Wakefield (a)

Neither of them are props and wont hold their own against Saints in terms of making yardage particularly from within our own 20.

They might not be props but they're both better at gaining territory than Ellis has been thus far (although I like Ellis - hard worker, durable and perhaps another couple of gears in him yet).

They are not for me as I say from within our own 20 metre area.
I do agree that Ellis is far from the finished article but is capable of high minutes at prop only bettered by Havard in the current squad.
Hopefully Partington may be available for Wakefield on Sunday.
