A nice ten degrees due on Saturday afternoon ha! Reminds me of that time we went to Montpellier against Catalans, brilliant sunshine for days in the UK.
Did nothing but pour down in the south of France for three days. Two hours after flying home the clouds disappeared and the sunshine came out, by which time it was raining in the UK.
Formerly of Whelley via The River Caves, but now in the next best thing, Chorley!

'Do you remember when we had that meeting in Orlando? We talked about how we were knocked out the previous year by Leeds. And at the end, I asked you one question. "Do you want to be a semi-final team? Or do you want to do something special?" You all said you wanted to win. But talking is easy – it needed you to believe. It needed you to work hard – harder than you had – and make sacrifices. You did all that. you worked for each other. You stuck together when it was tough. And because of your efforts, you sit here tonight as champions. I'm proud of you. Be proud of yourselves. You've done something special.' Shaun Wane's post-Grand Final speech. 5th October 2013.
Was anybody on here due to go with Mayfair Travel? My Dad and two mates booked through them and the last they heard Mayfair were in the process of trying to get refunds for flight and accommodation bookings. As he's 71, he's now withering me to see what's going on so thought I'd mither on here first!
Both Ryan air and aer lingus have told us we can have full refunds. Only trouble is the Irish Governemnt have now changed some rules so that the airlines do NOT need to give full refunds. Waiting to hear back from both.
We got money back for house that we rented but still waiting to hear from Aur Lingus as to when we will get refund
Shearings called a few weeks back, said it had been postponed, and they were waiting to hear from their suppliers. which i guess is a nice way of telling me they are keeping my money for as long as possible
To be honest, weve had 2 deaths due to CV-19 in the last week, 1 friend and 1 close family member who was a paramedic (the first paramedic in the country to die from it). I couldnt give a monkeys about the money, just feel.for the people who are due it as they should morally get it back.
And to those that appreciate the serious nature of this virus, dont stop preaching to this that dont. I can tell you, it's horrible, and everything comes a distant second to resolving this crisis.
