A Tour Downunder and World Cup respectively.

And two stark occasions when lots of British players with vastly over-inflated reputations got totally found out.

These tourists could finish up even more tarnished. Because this time they haven't even played Australia.

Incredibly unbalanced squad to start off with, I really want GB/England to do well, my greatest RL memory was being in Sydney in '88, Mike Gregory et al but my god this is painful viewing.
Just hoping Gildart and Hardaker aren't seriously injured and they get home in one piece.

It's definitely become one of those tours that you finish up hoping your own club players can be salvaged from (both physically, and in terms of reputation).
