I think Marshall doesn't get the credit he deserves I think he's been great this season yes maybe he has lapses in defence but you can't argue his finishing when he gets a chance is brilliant also his enthusiasm is 100% better than Burgess who just seems to have a face like a smacked @rse most of the time

I said the exact same thing on here 4 months ago and was shot down. Apparently he was the best winger in SL.

He’s not even mid table class

His strike rate is up there with the very best. Even this season his try scoring statistics are better than wonder boy Grace and only slightly behind Makinson. How come given Saints are runaway leaders?

Marshall has hardly dropped a high ball that I can recall lately, although he's let one or two nasty ones bounce first. But even the best, like RTS, do that occasionally. The body language is full of enthusiasm, he looks like he is enjoying his rugby and relishes at chance to get the ball in hand and run at defenders. i've noticed at the DW too that if Hardaker forays upfield it seems to be Marshall, rather than the more experienced Burgess, who drops back to cover.

Burgess doesn't look in the same place at all. I don't see why he should be 'finished', but we need more from him.

He was 'finished' for me when he announced he wanted to go back to the NRL the day he re-signed for Wigan. It's just plain ignorant for me and hopefully the club have started to put a kerb on this, but when it was announced he would only be getting a 1 year deal i was hoping it would kick him into gear but something is blocking him. He has all the attributes in abundance we all know that but for some reason has lost his zip. I hope he can re-gather that form because he is the best left sided winger in the league for me when he is on it.

Think some folk are being a bit hard on Budgie here, but I would agree that he's one of the few who hasn't stepped up his game in the last few weeks.

Joe is a very good wingman who's out of form. His form will return he's too good for it not to.
Agree that Marshall is improving all the time. Had a very good game last night and two very well taken tries too.
If the opposition stack up their defence against our left side attack then watch out Marshall's about!!!!

It would appears we've found a new scapegoat. He didn't have his best game but was nowhere near as bad as some are making him out to be. 98 metres with the ball and no mention of the tackle when he came flying across from his own wing to make a try saving tackle on the opposite side of the field.
I wonder if some of our "fans" have migrated over with the other site being down?

And how good was Sarginson again last night, my m.o.m.
