Every season there is a coming and going of players....mainly going, especially any class. Tonight showed us where we are ........you might have enjoyed that. But I certainly didn't.

Spot on. The head in the sand approach must end soon surely.

It was always going to be a bridge too far tonight minus 4 props from the start of the season plus Lockers and Greenwood. I wouldn’t start pointing fingers at Lam but I would question the teams decisions tonight. I thought going for the two points at 0-0 and then 6-2 was just throwing much needed field position away and giving their front row and their defensive line speed an easy way of keeping us pinned in our half. We’d troubled them in the first 5-10 mins as well but then had to do too much defending.
That's all true, NK, but it's like you only mentioned the good bits!

I’ve questioned the attitude of Burgess before and after a flying comeback this year, he’s gone backwards since the new deal was signed and I can’t say I’m surprised. He’s so so talented but he just doesn’t look to have the desire to be the best player he can be.
Frustrating
He reminds me of Charnley is so many ways, including his attitude and half hearted efforts now he’s become billy big rubbish.
It's a footnote now, but does anyone agree with us going for 2 when we were 6-2 down near their line? I thought it was a waste of field position, still left us needing to score and basically said to an already-confident Saints "We don't think we can score a try even from here."

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Most idiotic post ever goes to Grimmy..... The way to restart should be an arm wrestle between a designated player from each side.

In hindsight no but at the time I think it was the right decision, get the 2 and continue to build pressure. I think most teams would have gone for the 2 to be totally honest

I have greatest respect for Rugby Union, they started it mid-way through the 19th century. Thankfully we grabbed it and turned it into a spectacle on 29th August 1895
