Hastings is an outstanding player but it’s really not that good of a deal and it’s probably a year or two early for Wigan. He’ll be gone after a year and Wigan’s recruitment so far suggest you won’t have the squad or coach to make the most of his talents

He’ll be in the same place as Holbrook and Thompson in two years time.

They showed the jersey presentation on TV before the game in Australia and then during the game told the story of Herbie and Brian Foley heading out to Australia. Gave Brain, St Pats and Wigan great respect. It was nice to see.

You've downgraded for me.

So by that you mean you prefer Tauti and Naverette to Walmsley and Thompson?

If the debate is you’re a better player if you’ve won more trophies. Tauti has a SL title and a WCC, the other only have a SL title. Does that mean he is the best of the 4?

Great signing for Wigan and worth the 12 month wait.
But better from Hastings holding out for a marquee deal.

Who are we expecting to partner him next season, Sammut? I'm not sure him and Leuluai would make sense as a partnership

Most idiotic post ever goes to Grimmy..... The way to restart should be an arm wrestle between a designated player from each side.
