was shocking but no doubt wigan fans will defend it, if it wasnt for the trainer god knows what he would have done

REALLY ????

Who on here will defend Isa's actions bang out of order in every way .

The ref was rank bad and reminded of our French friend Mr Alibert. Missed so many poor tackles that when he realised his mistakes gave offside at the next play the ball . He was one tackle behind the players all game .

How does anyone know if Isa was "going for the ref" or or a Huddersfield player who said something? From where we were, behind the posts I don't know how anyone could be 100% sure.
Isa should just have walked off to the sin bin, I guess the refs report will tell us more.

Inexperienced referees have to start somewhere. Lots of people very quick to criticise our regular SL referees but not willing to cut their less experienced colleagues (who will challenge the existing ones) any slack. Moving from one level to the next is difficult for players as well as referees. I didn't go, but from the reaction of Bilko on Wish, it didn't sound very clever. If they are dishing out bans for making contact with the ref, I wouldn't be surpsrised if a ban follows

Well, sorry ... you haven't got that straw to grab hold of either.

No one is defending, how do you know what he would have done?
How do you know he was going for the referee?

He should be charged with re-entering the field of play, that's what he did, the rest is conjecture.

Surely the ref would’ve sent him off if it was that bad?

And another!
I’ve never seen a top flight professional player do that before. To say there was nothing in it is a very dangerous thing to say. We condone that kind of behaviour then the games finished as any new ref is fair game to be physically threatened.
I was sat behind the wigan directors right next to the tunnel area where it happened and from our seats It was perfectly obvious who he was going for, your directors’ reaction to what happened suggest they agree- it wasn’t a player it was the official- the ref had to tell him more than once to leave, it was clear he didn’t want to. Isa is very lucky that others intervened.
