That's always the problem. People talk as if it would be a quick fix.
IL has won us much silverware during his tenure. He's also in the process of giving us a brand-new Wigan Warriors HQ right next to the stadium.
We're all upset with the way things are going, but I think people should be careful what they wish for.
Correct. Better the devil you know. Overall IL has been great for us. It was me that mentioned him going to to the football league and perhaps taking off the day to day running of the club.
Let's not forget the salary cap 'admin error' that very nearly landed us a two points deduction as well to everything else this season.
I certainly think it's time IL surrounds himself with some strong leaders to refocus the club from next season as we are becoming a laughing stock.

And to think Leneghan had the nerve to blame Zak Hardaker’s arrest for drink driving (whilst a Wigan employee) on Castleford and Leeds.
Which of course he didn't. Don't let that stop you though..
Not good reading at all for your Club, as a rugby fan first and a leigh fan second i hope wigan sort this out soon as we need a strong wigan in the league

“Our duty of care as employers is to help Zak address the fundamental problems that he has had for some time – issues that we believe could and should have been confronted already”. If that’s not blaming his previous clubs, I don’t know what is.
The only person to have shown interest in the past has been Trevor Hemmings who puts in 4,000,000 a year at Preston but he is notable for being tight with money.
Hemmings only bought Preston to save them from possibly going under and he bought the club at a reduced rate. He has also shown no ambition other than keeping them financially stable (nothing wrong with that) and they run on one of the lowest budgets in the championship which granted will be significantly more than a rugby league teams budget. I just don’t see him buying Wigan, I always get the impression he didn’t really want to end up Preston’s owner but was backed into a corner and hasn’t been able to find a suitable buyer. Not sure about his love of rugby league as racing is his main interest but even though he’s one of the richest men in the country I don’t think he will be the bank roller people want.
