The club tried to recruit a coach but he went elsewhere. It wasn't MM.

Go on, give us a clue then?
'Do you remember when we had that meeting in Orlando? We talked about how we were knocked out the previous year by Leeds. And at the end, I asked you one question. "Do you want to be a semi-final team? Or do you want to do something special?" You all said you wanted to win. But talking is easy – it needed you to believe. It needed you to work hard – harder than you had – and make sacrifices. You did all that. you worked for each other. You stuck together when it was tough. And because of your efforts, you sit here tonight as champions. I'm proud of you. Be proud of yourselves. You've done something special.'

Shaun Wane's post-Grand Final speech. 5th October 2013.

That would surprise me but I assume that you have access to someone working at the club?

Can you confirm if we will receive the actual ST before Christmas this year or did they organise an "issue" with Ticker Master which means we wont get them until February? It's a serious question by the way as I buy my sons their ST as I Christmas present and it would be nice to actually give them actual ST rather than in recent years where this hasn't been the case.

Which won't happen as the majority of season ticket holders are happy clapping sheep who won't have a single bad word said about IL or the club IMO

Funny how the ones who always seem to work hardest to turn debates into bitter, name-calling squabbles are always the first to try to hide behind the rules.

Probably because they have continued to roll up. Even taking a home game to the other side of the world doesnt put many off buying an overpriced season ticket.

Until there's a significant (ie >20%) drop in ST sales and match-day attendances, the club will continue to treat the fans this way.

Season ticket sales are up on last season.

I dont believe that. The club would have promoted it if that were the case.

I agree. Why or what have the club done that would have actually increased ST sales ? Unless 'sarge' has a huge family ?

I cannot believe all the negativity on this forum about the return of Sarginson. If he is such a bad player how did he get in the England team? How did he get a contract in the NRL? If the doubts about him were in relation to his injury situation I could understand it, but no, all the moaning is about his lack of the desired ability. Get real, the days of signing superstars has long gone.
