It felt at the time with Hamlin that half the reason he got in trouble was because he was homesick. We’ve a record for giving second chances but even if we offered it, I doubt he wants it.

According to a well known member of the squad who told me at the time, Jason Robinson was moved to the wing by Coach John Monie because as a scrum half, he could not remember the names and numbers of his set moves, but he needed to utalise his speed in the team.

It turned out to be a shewed move by Monie in view of what took place afterwards.

My mate swears blind he saw Robinson score 10 plus tries in a game against saints academy playing scrum half. Every single time, from the feed of the scrum
Years in existence and average attendance

Leigh Centurions - 100+ years / Circa 3k
Wakefield Wildcats - 100+ years / Circa 4k
Toronto Wolfpack - 3 years / 9k

He didn't.
SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

Going off the rails because you’re homesick, down in the dumps, depressed or whatever it may be happens. Is it an excuse for him? It probably is but these things happen in life all the time. I’m not saying he deserves any leeway but that is how it felt at the time. A lad taking risks, doing what he wanted etc because ultimately he didn’t really want to be here anyway.

He won’t be back anyway so it’s irrelevant.

Good point.

Who are the big signings at prop that you think we have missed out on? (first class props) particularly ones made by our main rivals?

Iv'e got one. Liam Watts. Sure i remember we had asked about him before he went to Cas.

I got told that Wane wanted to sign Watts but IL wouldn’t sanction the move.
Could be total bs but could explain why Wane left.
Watts would be perfect for us the moment

Sounds unlikely given that he was willing to give a new contract to Hock after his ban, sign Hardaker after all his indiscretions, keep Bateman after that incident. We bought in Greenwood that season too who I'd guess would have commanded a similar salary at the time. Unless you mean he wouldn't sanction it for a reason other than disciplinary issues or salary?

Most idiotic post ever goes to Grimmy..... The way to restart should be an arm wrestle between a designated player from each side.
