Perhaps agree to disagree his early years yes I agree he looked to be the real deal but I don’t know his form was never the same once Lam arrived,yes you could throw that at most of the current squad too,but something went wrong at Wigan,what who knows but yes attitude may well have something as you rightly say,to do with things.

Would I gave him back st Wigan? No not for me and I can’t see what another year in the NRL will do for him he looked frankly out of his depth in the game I saw him in,better to cut his losses and get back here.

And yet he's been playing in the NRL feeder league and is now coming back to the UK on loan, Please give it a rest, you simply aren't clever enough

P.S Ricky Bibey has a GF winners medal/ring, doesn't mean he was a great player

Just hypothetical, but it would point to two possible reasons:

1 - the club don't want Gildart back.

2 - we actually had to pay Zak to leave & the money isn't there. Would also potentially give a reason why we didn't seem in the running for Wardle. Like you said, centre is a weak area and that's two potential options we've not moved for.

Fingers crossed Halsall plays at the weekend and smashes it.

I can’t see point number 2 being correct as we were not paying up to the cap before Zak left.

There was a contractual issue between the club and Gildart quite a while before he left that got a bit messy. I can't imagine the club would want him back, and the feeling is probably mutual on Gildart's part.

Can't see Wigan having paid ZH off - he was the one that wanted out, so if anything he should be paying Wigan to allow him to break his contract, otherwise we're effectively subsidising Leeds to stay under the salary cap, and paying ZH to do whatever ZH does with no benefit to Wigan.
