We know Tautai is off the books, I’d guess that would give us enough wiggle room to get him in.

I can’t see any other rational reason other than cas granted him a release which was conditional on him not signing for Wigan or any other SL club for this season. A bit annoying but I don’t blame them.

As Sarginson is leaving next year maybe Escare staying wouldn't be the worst thing as we'd need a back up full back. Not sure who we would play there if Hardaker is out.

Hanley has shown he is a super player but he’s barely legal to drive. Give him time in the academy and on loan to a Championship club. His time will come next season or 2021 and when it does we’ll be glad we didn’t throw him to the wolves now.

His time was up as soon as he threw a strop when he was brought off against Huddersfield in early June. I said at the time there was no coming back from that kind of disrespect to Powell, the other players and the club.
The only surprising thing is we didn’t cut him sooner. We’ve been playing the likes of Will Maher rather than Clark, when clearly Clark is the better player.
Maybe we have the opportunity to bring in a quota player this year and need Clark gone so we can do that.

If Hardaker is still in the squad he plays at fullback - no question about that for me. Not heard anything about Hardaker other than him being very happy at Wigan.

The French signing is a strange one unless Lam sees him as a #6. He definitely isn't coming over here not to start every week.
