LoveRugbyLeague reporting Marty Taupau is leaving Manly. A big powerful front rower, I’d be disappointed if we weren’t even looking at him and considering an offer.

About 10 NRL clubs chasing him. No point wasting our time. We cant get anywhere near what Bateman is being offered never mind what Taupau would command

Where has it been stated Bateman's move is about money? From what I've learnt it's about the opportunity to play in the NRL and live in Aus.

It was widely publicised that he wants to go to Canberra and that Canberra want him but are not prepared to pay the predetermined transfer fee that is in JBs contract. I suspect that’s why it’s about money.

The top players are commanding multi year deals for millions of dollars J Taumalola at N Queensland got 10 million. Taupau will be getting big offers, the days of competing for top Aussie talent is over

If it is about living in Australia why does he want to go to Canberra, It doesn't really offer the amazing beaches and outdoor lifestyle offered by the likes of Queensland and NSW coasts, Surely Cronulla would be the obvious choice, after all half of Cronulla is surrounded by the sea
