We may not need Thompson next year but if he is available he needs to be signed as he would probably be with whoever he comes back to for the next 6-8 years.

This is the reason I think Wardle is such a great signing too.

He probably solves a problem for the next 8-10 years I don’t think he has much of a desire to go to the NRL.

Wardle signing for us is a bit like when Senior signed with Leeds.

Is the Wardle a done deal based of what you've heard from Hudds? Seems like there's a bit of talk about it, but not the same amount of chatter as what we've seen with other 'done deals'.

If I was him, I'd probably be pi$$ed off that I didn't get a game last night. Don't get me wrong, he's no superstar but he's also done very little wrong too. He deserved a start last night imo.

If I have one minor gripe with Peet (& it's only minor), it's his selection & loyalty to certain players. Last night, Cust should have started at 9 with Miski on the wing. I have no idea where the thought of Shorrocks starting came from?

Yes I agree - hopefully that will be it for Shorrocks at hooker but I suspect not.

I know its like we all know whats better to make a top team as Wigan being CC holders second in the table better on points difference and fearing no one and playing a brand of rugby not seen in years,what lets be be honest does Peet know.
I for one trust Peet to put the dynamics of the team first and not favour any players.

Obviously no one has said that but have said i would play this guy drop this guy and so on all i have intimated is that I trust Peet as I think he does know what he is doing,
