I would be very happy about this if the deal is done. Said a week or so ago I didn’t think this would happen in a million years as it really doesn’t seem the kind of signing our club would make but if it comes off I really think we could be in for some excitement!

We have Hardaker for full back on a 4 year deal so I'd deduce French is going to play somewhere else.
Lam isn't going to play Escare so sadly he may as well leave.

Not if he's happy to sit on the sidelines and take his pay packet. I had assumed he was OOC but he has another year to go yet.

From what people are saying we are actively trying to get rid but he’s on a healthy wage here that won’t be matched elsewhere so it’s proving understandably difficult.

I haven’t watched French play since his debut season, but I’m informed by my friend who moved to Australia a couple of years ago that he is basically the Aussie Escare.

I'm really not sure about the French signing.

Our back three is top notch imo and I'd rather see an out and out HB brought in.

I just can't see it as a prudent use of cap.

I think we are looking to add significant strike in the halves and that is the idea behind French.

Nearly everything goes through Hastings at Salford. He pretty much controls both sides in attack, hence why I think they were happy to let Lui join Leeds.

I think he will totally dominate our creative/organisation just as he does at Salford and we will use French to add pace and strike in the middle of the park.
